The SF model reels are particularly effective in any kind of pitching and flipping situation, thanks to the Instagage® II clutch and its two-bar system. The lower bar engages the clutch while the top re-engages the drive gear, so the reel instantly gets into gear without even turning the handle. Designed with a sturdy one-piece aluminum frame, it has an aluminum spool. There are four ball bearings and one roller bearing for smoothness. The Super Stopper® anti-reverse uses a one-way stainless steel roller bearing to provide solid hooksets. With the Variable Braking System (VBS®), set up your brake weights to control the amount of resistance applied to the spool during a cast. The SF™ series has a Super Free (SF™) Bearing Supported Pinion Gear System that ensures smoothness.
